Established in 2004, Visure was a spin-off from a Spanish IT services firm, in which the initial releases of Visure’s flagship product (IRqA) was developed.

Visure was founded in 2004 as a spin-off from “TCP Sistemas e Ingeniería”, a Spanish IT services firm established in 1993, specialized in networking systems, Business Process Management (BPM), software engineering, and the aerospace sector.

After the development at TCP Sistemas e Ingeniería of a first prototype of an OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) tool, the focus turned instead to the Requirements Engineering field, a relatively new area with much fewer competitors and more stable. Leveraging on TCP’s internal experience in real requirements management problems (both from the technical and commercial sides) the initial product was reengineered as a solution in this area.

The product addressed many of the most common problems of a services’ organization project, such as agreeing on the base concepts with all the stakeholders, giving coherence to the specifications, the need to use engineering modelling techniques, and managing complex and huge sets of requirements.

Visure was established as an independent company at the end of 2004, and Bullnet Capital invested in Q3 2007.
