Mapsi Photonics is a spin-off of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya founded in 2021. They are focused on the development of macroporous silicon infrared filters for industrial applications related to gas identification and thermal vision. They are working to create a new generation of filters superior to multilayer filters in terms of performance, cost, resolution, operational range, robustness and environmental footprint. Their goal is to meet the needs of the current market and expand into new applications where current technology does not reach.
Bullnet invested in Mapsi Photonics in November 2023, and it will strive to support the company whenever required.
