Established in 2004, Visure was a spin-off from a Spanish IT services firm, in which the initial releases of Visure’s flagship product (IRqA) was developed.

Oncovision

Nuclear imaging company, founded in 2003 as a spin-off from the Corpuscular Physics Institute of CSIC. The company develops innovative devices for cancer diagnosis and treatment, as well as early Alzheimer detection. In November 2016, Bruker acquired, Oncovision’s preclinical product line, Albira, a multimodal imaging device for preclinical research.

Anafocus

Spin-off from IMSE-CSIC (The Institute of Microelectronics of Seville), specialized in the development of vision systems on chip (VSOCs) and high performance mixed signal integrated circuits. Founded in September of 2000, the company was acquired by British multinational e2v in 2014.

Multiwave

Founded in 2003, the company was a spin-off from the University of Porto founded by a team with more than fifteen years of experience in the field. The company specialized in the development of fiberoptic sources, fiber sensing systems and OEM modules.

Arvirago

Videogames studio founded in 2002 by the former chief of design of the “Commandos” video game series. The company developed a videogame called The Lord of the Creatures, with an innovative graphics engine and gameplay dynamics.

Netspira

Founded in September 2000, Netspira was a software vendor for teleco operators specialized in solutions for GPRS traffic management. Acquired by Ericsson in 2005, the company was integrated into Ericsson’s R&D group
